Berlin, September 1999: On schedule a new Beech Airliner
1900D was modified with a 12-seating Executive Interior by the
Berlin based company Beechcraft Berlin aviation GmbH. The
modification received the Supplemental Type Certification
through the German Aviation Authority LBA. This project was
world wide the first of its kind. |
|
The new interior was professionally
developed, designed and installed according to the latest
technologies applicable to executive aircraft. The basic
design consists of new headliner and sidewall panels made of
composite material in sandwich construction. The oxygen masks,
reading lights and air outlets are set into two indirectly
lighted valance panels. The aircraft is equipped with a
forward Refreshment Center and an aft toilet compartment incl.
externally serviced flushing toilet and hand wash basin. The
toilet compartment is separated from the cabin through sliding
dividers.
